This is murat, I am a human.

I grew up as an only child on the Aegean coast of Turkey. I spent most of my adult life learning, doing, and teaching basic science. I like discovering order in nature, making/hacking things for fun, and wandering around planet Earth.

I am most curious about the evolution of molecular signaling mechanisms. I work at the interface of chemistry, biology and computing, utilizing the most sophisticated methods known to man to attack intractable questions of life.

As much fun as I am having with that, it gets a little overambitious at times, so I am always looking for opportunities to work on more practical applications.
